Bright blue patio chairs, a beautiful Cardinal, AND….snowish stuff, on our patio this morning.
This April weather sure makes it hard to believe that TUBING SEASON is only 6 weeks away!!
But sip your hot chocolate today, and keep your fingers crossed that such a cold spring means a HOT SUMMER!🌡☉
We had an interesting day at Canoeacopia, at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison! It was a first time visit, and for any canoe/kayak enthusiast it’s pretty stellar!
I was up there getting booth design inspiration for next year to help with the Lafayette County Tourism Program!
We keep getting asked if we are going to carry canoes and kayaks for rental. The answer is not right now, but its definitely on our radar for future growth. So keep asking and one of these days the answer may be yes!
AND.. we ended our trip with a first time stop at the Thirsty Goat! Their Bourbon BBQ sauce is fantastic!

Try grabbing a late breakfast or lunch at Irma’s kitchen in Argyle, and then head on out to the Toy Train Barn, located on Hwy 81 between Argyle and Monroe. There is lots to see! 🚂
When you are all done, head back into Argyle and get a sweet treat at Central 52. They have fantastic Ice cream and maybe you can even try a game of checkers at one of their tables! 🍦🍨
It’s staying a bit warmer these days ☉ Tubing season will be here before you know it!

The snow keeps coming! The temperatures are still freezing. But don’t worry, there is still lots to do around the Argyle area while you wait for a river float!
You can grab lunch at the Corner Bar and Deli, do a little fishing out at Yellowstone Lake State Park and end your evening with a drink at Goodfellas Tavern.
Sounds like the perfect Saturday to us, or maybe Sunday Funday??
We have several day trip ideas for you in the area. We will keep them coming. 😁

Its cold and snowy in Lafayette County today, but tubing season will be here before you know it! We are busy getting started with our plans for the season. It’s 44 days until SPRING! The Pecatonica River looks rather picturesque as the snow keeps falling, but we are looking forward to the beautiful green grass to start showing up.
